Autism Focused Intervention Resources & ModulesA COVID-19 toolkit developed at the University of North Carolina Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute Autism Team at Chapel Hill. 7 support strategies designed to meet the unique needs of individuals with autism during periods of uncertainty. Materials represent a variety of styles/designs/complexity to model the range of what may be most meaningful across ages and skills, and to demonstrate what can be generated with few materials. TD Social Skills: Life LessonsA YouTube site providing programing to enhance children’s social and emotional well-being. Weekly videos geared directly toward children will teach strategies and skills to reduce stress and anxiety, and improve family relationships. At Home Developmental Activities
Under the supervision of Kathy Doody, Associate Professor in Exceptional Education at Buffalo State, graduate students in EXE 650 - Assessment of Young Children with Disabilities - created fun and engaging activities for parents to do easily at home with their children. Each activity focuses on a target skill, and includes a list of required materials, links, costs, and step by step instructions.
